I have been training with Jeff for a few years now and have made gains in strength, mobility, nutrition, overall health and most importantly in confidence. When we were first introduced I was struggling to reprioritize my health and fitness and my journey since then has been full of ups and downs requiring pivots and accommodations to our usual training routines. Throughout those times Jeff was flexible and understanding, making plans and back up plans to be prepared for my unpredictable and changing needs/goals.

TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY

Before I started working with Jeff, I was in a constant battle with my lack of strength and motivation. I was struggling with my postpartum body and had just survived cervical cancer. I felt weak both physically and mentally, and the thought of exercising gave me anxiety. I decided I needed a personal trainer to help me overcome my hurdles. From the moment I met Jeff I knew instantly he wasn't going to let me give up on myself. After my first initial meeting with Jeff, I left it feeling heard and understood. He immediately recognized my struggles and tailored a program to suit my needs and capabilities. WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY

Jeff is the 3rd trainer I have crossed paths with. For how ever long I am in the hamilton area, he will be the go to, and the one to recommend. I've done solo sessions, couple sessions and recently been doing workout sessions in a group of 3 people with Jeff. All 3 of us are at different levels but he manages us well and makes sure that we each get a great workout every time. He not only was accommodating towards my bad knee, but had incorporated workouts to help strengthen the muscles around it so that I could work my way up to doing heavier weights safely. He is very knowledgeable and has experience with all types of clients at all levels which is something to appreciate, especially when seeking out group sessions. Our mix bag of a group consists of a someone brand new to the gym to a frequent gym goer. When needed, he adjusted the execution of the workout for each of us based on our own seperate needs. He changes up things and has us try new exercises, which helps us too not stay in that repetitive boring routine of the same thing each time.

He's created a very open environment where none of us feel uncomfortable or timid. We are able to joke and make our sessions fun, but also stay on task, workout safely, and still feel comfortable enough to be able to speak up if we have questions or concerns. He explains everything well, painting a picture of what muscles are involved in each workout, what to avoid, all the reasons why, while also explaining what to watch out for in terms of form. He's also incorporated mobility movements into our sessions. Which has been great as we've begun to use these in our day to day at home! It's definitely a fun yet excruciating experience lol but worth every penny! Highly recommend him as a trainer!

If you're looking for a personal trainer or a basketball coach who is serious about your goals, someone that would push you to do better every single session, and is kinda goofy to make things more fun and exciting... then he's the one for you!!! I don't think there are enough words to describe how amazing Jeff is! Not only has he helped transform me physically and lose 10 kgs in 6 months, but he has also helped my mental health. When I started with Jeff in November of 2023, all my shirts were pillowcases on me. Now it's safe to say I need some new clothes! I'm busting out of sleeves and ripping pants left and right, and it's all thanks to Jeff at Controlled Chaos Training. He starts everyone from the same position, whether you have had experience or not. He takes the time to show proper form and explain why each exercise works the way it does! Jeff even helps with nutrition and tells me how i need to eat to progress. He goes that extra mile because his heart is in it and you can clearly tell. He makes working out fun and something that I look forward to every week, even if it kills me. Frequantly Asked Questions

What is the best time to train?

Depends on your schedule! The best time is what you can manage between other priorities and easy to keep consistent. I always train at night after my clients, since I am already there so I have no other excuses.

How many clients have you worked with?

I would say I have trained over 100 clients and have met so many more! In this industry if you are competent at your job, clients will no longer depend on you as they become more independent and confident.

How many years have you been a personal trainer?

I started training all the way back in 2016 so this will be my 9th year in the industry. I like to think I am improving my skills as a coach every year, but there is always more room to learn and improve.

What are your business hours?

My hours are Monday-Friday 10am-10pm but I prefer late afternoon and evenings as it is easy to keep coherent with my other time blocks.

Why would I need a trainer?

Having a trainer can increase your likelihood of seeing success in your goals. You will have someone to hold you accountable, teach you how to exercise safely, program your routine for you.
