Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals that are found in certain foods. These vitamins and minerals are crucial for regulating our hormones and health of our cells. A few examples of important micronutrients are: Iron, Vitamin D, Calcium, Zinc and Magnesium. Remember it’s not about the size of the micronutrient, it’s how you use it.

Macronutrients are the main fuel source of the body and make up the total amount of calories in food. Fats are the slowest burning fuel, helping give you more energy for longer and used to absorb vital nutrients. Carbohydrates are the quickest burning fuel, giving you a quick jolt of energy and regulating glucose and insulin levels. Protein is the middle child for burning fuel and used to repair muscle and bone tissues.

Depends on your schedule, ideal range is anywhere between 2-5 times a day
